How do cell phones works? 

The cell phone is one of the most important things In our current life. It has become that we cannot even have a day without a cell phone. • The digital signals in the form of 0's and 1's
• That signals go to the cell towers and then it will be converted into electronic magnetic waves.
• Electronic magnetic waves begin to transmit the 0's and 1's. then it's changed into amplitude, frequency and phase.
• But the electromagnetic wave has one disadvantage. it has no power to travel a long distance.
• While the electromagnetic wave passes, its power will be lost by nearby electromagnetic outlets.
• Perhaps these electronic outlets do not exist, also these electronic magnetic waves could not travel due to our earth system.

Cell phone towers were introduced to overcome all of this.

Cellular Technology

With this technology, all our area or Place are divided into hexagonal shapes. and a cellular phone tower is installed in each place and a frequency slot is set up accordingly.

All these towers are connected via an optical fibre cable.

The electromagnetic waves generated by your cellphone, and that are received by the sensing antenna in the tower and converted into a high-frequency light pulse.

The high-frequency light pulse travels through an optical fibre cable and through a transceiver at the bottom of the tower.

Finally, the light pules convert to electromagnetic waves.

Mobile Switching Center(MSC)

• It was introduced to take place very simple and quick. Its serves as a hub for the tower located in a group.
• It will store all the essential details you give when you buy a new sim card.
• By only with these MSC, where you can currently locate can be detected.

MSC Functions

• The place your house is located is called Home MSC which means nearby your home have an MSC.
• Whenever you leave your home MSC, the foreign MSC located there, that will be connected to your home MSC.
• From the home MSC, the foreign MSC will get all the information required.

Techniques to identify where the users are located.

• Keep recording the user's location again and again for a certain period of time.
• When you go over a certain place.
• The phone will continue to record when the phone gets turned on.

For Example,

When you start talking to your friends, your microphone picks it up, converts into a light pulse with the help of a tower, and located it with an optical fibre cable. And the light pulse sends to the friends MSC, the waves are converted into signals and receive by the mobile phone. or else your friend not in the Home MSC, a friend will be in contact with the help of Foreign MSC.
